…being a research scholar at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Ct.

I teach two courses per semester as a visiting assistant professor in the Biology Department at Wesleyan University. These courses are appropriate for the Neuroscience and Behavior major.

My research program focuses on how the coordination of communication signals among groups of animals organizes social structure and group behavior; and how social structure influences the coordination of communication signals. We study these questions by examining electrocommunication behavior of weakly electric mormyrid fish.
